Future Wrap Composite

FutureWrap composite repair systems have been developed and qualified to ISO24817 to provide a long term integrity solution to a whole host of damage mechanisms that occur onshore, offshore within the oil & gas, energy and renewable sectors. These damaged mechanisms include internal and external corrosion/erosion, through wall defects, cracking, CUI and mechanical damage. The repairs can be applied to all component types or pipework and pipelines, caissons and risers and also structural components, including decks.

  • FutureWrap systems are compatible with Stainless , Carbon steel , Duplex , Super Duplex and Cunif.

  • The range of FutureWrap repairs are designed to optimise performance (maximum pressure, maximum and minimum temperature and also chemical resistance) with ease of installation.

  • FutureWrap has ABS approval with a Product Design Assessment (PDA) for FutureWrap composite repair products against the ASME standard PCC-2 Article 4.1

The following lists the individual repair systems within the FutureWrap repair range detailing the performance range and other technical details:

Future Wrap Fire

FutureWrap Fire composite repair system is specifically designed for the repair of pipework or structural components where a fire performance rating is required.

FutureWrap Bio

FutureWrap Bio is an eco-friendly composite repair system designed for repairing defects on pipework. It consists of a stitched glass cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 110°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 75 bar for through wall defects.

FutureWrap Low Temp

This FutureWrap Low Temp system is designed for repairing defects on pipework. It consists of a stitched glass cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 110°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 75 bar for through wall defects.

FutureWrap High Temp

The FutureWrap HT repair system is designed for repairing defects on pipework. It consists of a stitched glass cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 260°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 75 bar for through wall defects.

FutureWrap Structural

FutureWrap Structural repair is designed to repair a variety of damaged or corroded structural components, e.g. struts, columns, I-beams, panels etc. It consists of a stitched carbon cloth and a two part epoxy resin system.

FutureWrap HIDRS

The FutureWrap HIDRS system is specifically designed for the repair or rehabilitation of corroded or damaged deck areas which are subjected to high impacts. The composite material is constructed from a quadraxial ply fibrous reinforcement, Carbon, re-enforcing a rubber toughened Epoxy matrix.

Future Wrap Aqua Splash

The FutureWrap AquaSplash system is designed for repairing defects on pipework, caissons, risers and subsea pipework. It consists of either a stitched glass or carbon cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. It can be applied in damp locations or fully submerged in the sea.

FutureWrap SOS

The FutureWrap SOS repair system is non-engineered and can be applied as a temporary repair by any non-trained applicators. It consists of a stitched glass cloth impregnated with a polyurethane resin system. This repair system is suitable for pipework up to a pressure of 20 bar and temperature of 80°C.

FutureWrap Cunifer

This system is designed for repairing defects specifically on cunifer pipework. It consists of a stitched glass cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 70°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 50 bar for through wall defects. This repair system is ambient cured.

FutureWrap Glycol

This system is designed for repairing defects specifically on carbon steel pipework containing glycol. It consists of a stitched glass cloth and a two part epoxy resin system. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 120°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 50 bar for through wall defects and can be designed to provide an ECS warranty for up to 20 years.
